  • Apple iMac 27" late 2015 model, 4 Ghz quad core Intel i7, 3Tb fusion drive, 32 Gb RAM, retina 5K display

Time was you had to buy something like a Mac Pro to get the best Mac, but for some time now, the iMac is all you need, and a relative bargain too.

Mine is the top of the line fully loaded late 2015 version, with the AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4096 Mb Graphics card.

This is a custom build iMac. It includes the retina 5K display (5120 x 2880). I use it connected to a second display via Thunderbolt cable, an Apple Thunderbolt 27" display (2560 x 1440)

However, any iMac is good - and I consider these to be the best desktop computers you may get. Mac OSX is user friendly, and hence intuitively powerful. Great for word processing, website creation, photograph and video editing.

Programs I use on my iMac include Adobe Creative Suite CS6, Microsoft Office 2016 for MAC, Quicken 2016 for MAC and Quickbooks 2016 for MAC. I also like a program called GraphicConverter.

I use a MagicMouse 2 with it, and the wireless keyboard.

The fusion drive on it, a 3Tb one, includes 250Gb of SSD where your most used programs are automatically stored, and a regular spinning HD for the balance of the 3Tb.

    In general:
    The iMac "Core i7" 4.0 27-Inch Aluminum (Retina 5K, Late 2015/Skylake) features a 14-nm "Skylake"
    Quad Core
4.0 GHz Intel "Core i7" processor (6700K) with
    four
independent processor "cores" on a single chip, an 8 MB shared level 3 cache, 8 GB of 1867 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM (PC3-14900) installed in pairs (two 4 GB modules), a 1 TB, 2 TB or 3Tb "Fusion Drive," and an AMD Radeon R9 M390 or AMD Radeon R9 M395 graphics processor with 2 GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory. It also has a built-in "FaceTime HD" webcam and stereo speakers.

    This model has a 27"
    5120x2880
LED-backlit 16:9 widescreen IPS DCI-P3 "Retina 5K" display. The rear of the case is aluminum and is thicker in the middle and tapers to a razor thin 5 mm at the edges.

Connectivity includes four USB 3.0 ports, dual Thunderbolt 2 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n compatible), and Bluetooth 4.0.

Texas Hold’em vs. Omaha Poker: Which Should You Play?

Poker has long been one of the most popular card games in the world, and within the poker universe, two of the most widely played variations are Texas Hold’em and Omaha Poker. While both games share a lot of similarities, there are distinct differences that can influence which one you should choose to play. In this article, we will explore these two versions of poker, comparing the rules, strategy, and overall appeal to help you decide which game is right for you. Basic Rules: How They Differ

At the core of both Texas Hold'em and Omaha Poker, the goal is the same: form the best possible five-card hand using a combination of your hole cards (the cards dealt to you) and the community cards (cards dealt face-up in the center of the table). However, the main difference lies in the number of hole cards dealt to each player and how they must be used.

            Texas Hold'em:
            • Each player is dealt two hole cards face down.
            • There are five community cards dealt face-up, which all players can use to form their best five-card hand.
            • The game consists of four betting rounds: pre-flop, post-flop, post-turn, and post-river.

            Omaha Poker:
            • Each player is dealt four hole cards face down.
            • There are still five community cards, but here's the crucial difference: in Omaha, you must use exactly two of your hole cards and three community cards to make your best hand.
            • Like Texas Hold'em, Omaha also has four betting rounds.

The added complexity of four hole cards in Omaha makes it a more complex version of the game, and players must be strategic in how they use those extra hole cards. Strategic Differences: Which One Is Easier?

The strategy in both Texas Hold'em and Omaha differs, especially due to the number of hole cards dealt to each player.

In Texas Hold'em, because there are only two hole cards, the number of potential combinations is smaller. You don’t have to think about too many possibilities, and you can be more confident in what hands your opponents might be holding. The game relies heavily on reading your opponents and managing your chip stack through the various betting rounds.

In Omaha, the complexity increases significantly. With four hole cards, there are far more combinations of hands that you can potentially form, which means players must consider many more possibilities. In this game, it is much easier to hit a strong hand, but it's also easier to get caught up in trying to play multiple combinations and losing focus on what’s really important. Omaha requires careful hand selection and often encourages more aggressive play since strong hands tend to appear more frequently.

For beginners, Texas Hold’em may be easier to learn due to its simpler structure and fewer combinations to worry about. On the other hand, Omaha may be more suited for players who enjoy a deeper level of strategy and the opportunity to take more risks with more starting hands. Winning Potential: Which One Is More Rewarding?

Both Texas Hold’em and Omaha Poker offer great opportunities for big wins, but Omaha tends to be the more volatile option. This is because of the increased number of hole cards, which leads to more strong hands being made. In Texas Hold’em, it’s easier to fold when you're not hitting good hands, and it’s often a more conservative game. In contrast, Omaha rewards players who are willing to play a wider range of hands, but it also has more opportunities for losing big pots when the board doesn’t cooperate with your hand.

The high number of hand combinations in Omaha makes it a more dynamic game, which is exciting for many players who enjoy big pots and dramatic moments. However, this also means players who are not familiar with Omaha’s strategic intricacies could face higher risks and steeper learning curves. Which One Should You Play?

Ultimately, the decision to play Texas Hold'em or Omaha Poker depends on your personal preferences and experience. If you’re new to poker, Texas Hold’em is the more beginner-friendly option due to its simpler rules and strategic depth. It’s the most commonly played poker variant in both land-based and online casinos, making it the best starting point for players who want to get a feel for the game.

If you're looking for a more challenging and dynamic poker experience, Omaha could be the game for you. With its more complex hand combinations and more frequent action, Omaha tends to attract experienced poker players who are seeking a deeper strategy game.

Additionally, for those who are playing online and looking for some diversity, you might find poker variants like Omaha Hi-Lo or Pot-Limit Omaha being played at casinos that offer poker alongside games like link togel. If you're interested in expanding your gambling portfolio, exploring these options might offer fresh excitement. Conclusion

In the end, both Texas Hold'em and Omaha Poker have their unique appeal, and neither is inherently better than the other. It all comes down to what type of player you are and what kind of challenge you're looking for. Texas Hold’em is perfect for newcomers, while Omaha offers seasoned players the chance to enjoy a more intricate and dynamic game. Whichever you choose, poker remains one of the most thrilling and strategic games in the world, with endless opportunities for fun and profit.
